Women in Weightlifting
This program is for women who are interested in getting strong and fit using barbell exercises. Technique-based coaching will be given each session, focusing on the basic barbell lifts: the squat, deadlift, row, bench press, and overhead press. Accessory lifts and gym safety will also be covered. We will wrap up each day by putting what we learned into practice with a sweat-induced, challenging weightlifting workout together.

Resistance Training for Bone Health
As we age or reach different life stages, weakened bones can become a worry for many. In this 6-week class, we will work together to build comfort around resistance training to build and improve bone health.

Evidence Based Training for Sedentary Populations
This course is designed for those striving to meet the physical activity guidelines for physical activity and strength training. We want to help assist you in creating a program and healthy habits. We will incorporate cardiovascular training, strength training, mobility, and flexibility training into your programming. Let us help support you in achieving your activity goals!

TRX Total Body Fusion
TRX Total Body Fusion is a dynamic class that combines TRX suspension training, track intervals, and progressive bodyweight exercises for a comprehensive workout experience. Participants will engage in a series of exercises targeting core stability, cardiovascular endurance, and strength. No previous training required just a positive attitude and good vibes!

How to register online:
- Sign in to our online registration portal with your Hawk ID or community account.

Payment:
- Payment must be made at the time of registration online or at the membership desk.
- Forms of payment accepted: Cash, Check (made out to The University of Iowa), Credit Card, U-bill (Cash, Check, and U-bill are in-person only).
- No refunds will be given 3-days prior to the first class.
- There are no makeup sessions if a participant must miss a class due to their own scheduling conflicts.
- If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, participants will be contacted prior to the start of class.
- If a cancellation is needed due to extenuating circumstances, the participant will need to speak with the Associate Director of Fitness immediately in order for a refund to be considered.
